Biography
12 books and many articles on legal, political and ethical aspects of sustainability. Founding member of SANZ; Chair, ECANZ (Earth Charter Aoteroa New Zealand); Co-Chair, Ethics Specialists Group of the IUCN (World Conservation Union). Law professor at the University of Auckland, founding director of the Law Faculty's NZ Centre for Environmental Law, visiting professor at the Free University Berlin. Special interests in climate change, biodiversity, biotechnology and issues of sustainability governance and law.
